About me

Johannes Roosen-Runge, Jg. 1986

I live in northern Portugal on a beautiful farm called “Valdonedo - Quinta da Vida”, which I have been building up with my life partner and friends since 2023. I originally come from Germany, where I grew up and completed my studies as a jazz trumpet player and music teacher. Already during my studies I started working as a teacher and in numerous music projects across all musical genres.

I was also preoccupied with questions that went far beyond music and led me to meditation. This has now been an integral part of my path for over 10 years. The search for my own vision began. Numerous seminars and individual coaching sessions with Gabriele Wichert (cmbw) and training as a body-oriented music therapist and body-oriented trauma therapist broadened my perspective and helped me to get more and more to the heart of my vision. I also realized more and more what was holding me back, what tasks I needed to work on and what blockages I still had to overcome. After several attempts to strategize my dream project, I also discovered permaculture. This planning approach helped me to further concretize my vision and create a roadmap for implementation. Today, we are in the middle of the development phase and are realizing a place that we can live in and from and that can inspire not only us, but also people beyond. There are still obstacles and hurdles to overcome in our process. However, it is precisely this that gives us great potential to continue growing with and on the project. There are many new things to learn and discover every day.

With all the experience I have gained on my path from musician to project designer, I now work as a coach and have put together the “Systematic Flow Coaching” method. I accompany people who are looking for clarity and fulfillment in their lives. I believe that we all have the potential to rediscover ourselves and shape our path with clarity and creativity. I look forward to getting to know you and accompanying you on your journey.

My influences:

- Meditation: Regular meditation strengthens my ability for self-reflection and mindfulness in everyday life and builds up energy to overcome obstacles. In addition, dealing with the question of who I am at my core is a key driver for my own development.

Creative body therapy: The conscious connection between physical, emotional, gestural and spatial experience has enabled me to have deeper experiences and sustainable personal development. The human image and the attitude towards others play a central role in this method.

- Coaching:The coaching gave me more clarity about myself and my ideas. The structured and goal-oriented support helped me to creatively implement concrete changes in my life.

Permaculture: The principle of mindful and sustainable planning has shown me that there are simple and logical ways in which we can implement our projects. This goes far beyond the natural vegetable garden that permaculture is often misunderstood for.

Music education: Through my many years of experience as a music teacher, I was able to learn a lot about how to facilitate mutual growth. The questions that always preoccupied me were: “Where does my student want to go?” And “How can I help my student develop their full potential on this path?”
